Happy International Women's Day
I'm logging in to support and encourage #confidence, #positivity, #equality, and women supporting each other in honor of #internationalwomensday today. I do want to address that I have noticed the popular internet trend is to relay messages in an angry, combative, and top posturing tones especially in regards to fem topics. It seems that popular internet culture attributes the above qualities to #confidence and #strength. Both of which can stand on their own without the assistance of a combative tone. I find top posturing to have zero value other than revealing that whoever is spewing it, is masking extreme insecurities in the area it is focused on and likely several other places as well. When a message is communicated with a hateful and combative tone, people (regardless of gender or message) CANNOT hear what the fuck you are trying to communicate especially when you want to reach a spectrum of personalities and individuals. You can be #smart, #aggressive, #effective, #successful, #fierce and even #edgy without negative energy bursting forth!
